Reports To: Area Manager/Operations Manager


The Role

As the Supported Living Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our supported living services, managing a team of dedicated support staff. Your primary goal is to ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards, all while promoting independence and ensuring the well-being of the people we support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage supported living services for individuals with complex needs, ensuring person-centred care.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of staff members.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet individual needs, goals, and aspirations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CQC or equivalent), safeguarding, and best practices.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to ensure holistic support for individuals.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Implement and oversee risk management plans and health & safety procedures.
  • Handle complaints and feedback professionally and promptly to improve service delivery.
  • Develop strategies to promote independence and community integration for individuals.

This is an 8 week placement to provide interim support for our client.



Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience managing supported living services, particularly for individuals with complex needs.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and standards for supported living.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in developing care plans and working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse workforce.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with managing budgets and resource allocation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to service development.
  • Knowledge of person-centered planning and positive behavior support (PBS) principles.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external stakeholders (families, healthcare professionals, commissioners).
