We are recruiting on behalf of Creative Support for a Registered Manager. Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation promoting the independence, inclusion and wellbeing of people with care and support needs. They do this by working with the people they support, their families and partner agencies to deliver innovative, high-quality services to meet individual needs and aspirations.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to join our team at Creative Support. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and competent leader to oversee a large Extra Care service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations, extensive experience in managing change, and a proven ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and management of a large Extra Care service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
- Work closely with a Deputy Manager and a team of Senior Care Staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care delivery.
- Take ownership of all areas of quality assurance, including incident management, follow-ups, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of medications, safe administration, and best practices to uphold high standards of care.
- Manage safeguarding procedures and maintain detailed knowledge of CQC regulations to ensure compliance.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, including residents, families, and external agencies.
- Drive and implement change management strategies to improve services and operations.
- Lead, inspire, and support a large team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Be actively involved in preparing for and participating in CQC inspections, drawing on previous inspection experience to achieve positive outcomes.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week including weekends, evenings and public holidays according to the needs of the service.
Salary: In the region of £34,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)
