About the Role

Are you a compassionate, strategic leader with a strong background in mental health and recovery-focused services? We’re looking for a Recovery Team Manager to lead a dedicated team supporting individuals with complex mental health needs in a supported living setting in Northampton.

This service comprises 10 self-contained flats, enabling individuals to live independently while receiving tailored, outcome-focused support.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage a team delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented support services
  • Coordinate multi-agency support and ensure best practice in joint working
  • Oversee referrals, assessments, and service user transitions
  • Supervise staff, promote professional development, and ensure high standards through performance reviews and training
  • Develop and implement outcome-based Recovery Support Plans and Risk Assessments
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and contractual requirements
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships with service users, empowering them to grow in independence, confidence, and wellbeing
  • Ensure effective incident reporting, safeguarding, medication procedures, and health & safety standards
  • Maintain strong communication with housing providers, commissioners, and external professionals


What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in staff supervision or service management
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Strong understanding of recovery-based and person-centred approaches
  • Ability to assess needs and manage risk effectively
  • Skilled in staff leadership, development, and multi-agency collaboration
  • NVQ Level 3 or 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred
  • NVQ Assessor Award (D32/D33) or willingness to train
  • Good IT, admin, and communication skills
  • Car driver (desirable)
