We are urgently recruiting for a Driving Support Worker to join a busy Floating Support Service in Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct, one-to-one housing-related support to individuals across the region who need help maintaining or securing tenancies and building independent living skills.

About the Role
You will work in a mobile capacity, visiting customers in their homes and within the community. This position is ideal for someone confident, compassionate, and organised, who can work independently while maintaining clear professional boundaries. The role supports people with a range of needs, including those facing housing instability, financial difficulty, or health and social vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver housing-related support using trauma-informed, person-centred approaches
Support customers with daily living tasks, tenancy setup and sustainment
Work with individuals on budgeting, welfare benefits, and financial independence
Facilitate referrals to specialist services (e.g. health, substance misuse, education, training)
Maintain accurate case notes and complete support/risk plans using digital platforms
Respond to safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately
Promote tenancy readiness for individuals in temporary accommodation
Travel across the Guildford area using your own vehicle
