Your Responsibilities as a Support Worker

  • Provide compassionate, person-centred care and emotional support
  • Assist with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks
  • Encourage independence and engagement in meaningful activities
  • Maintain accurate care notes and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all residents
  • Work as part of a team and hand over clearly between shifts.
  • Safeguard service users by following care plans, risk assessments and policies.

Experience Required

To be considered for this Support Worker position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 6 months’ UK experience working in a care home or supported living environment
  • Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
  • Up-to-date mandatory training (we can help renew if needed)
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • A caring, reliable, and professional attitude
