About the Role
We are recruiting a compassionate, skilled Team Leader to join our Supported Living service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in the Dudley area. You will provide strong, positive leadership to staff while ensuring high-quality, person-centred support that enables people to live fulfilling, independent and valued lives.
The focus of this role is to empower people to build skills, confidence and meaningful connections within their communities. You will help ensure that the people we support can say:

Key Responsibilities
Supporting People with Complex Needs
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred support that promotes choice, independence and inclusion.
- Build warm, trusting relationships and coach staff to do the same.
- Support individuals who may express distress or behaviours of concern using positive, proactive approaches.
- Oversee Individual Support Plans, Holistic Assessments and Risk Assessments, ensuring they are up to date and effective.
- Promote wellbeing through healthy lifestyles, meaningful activities and community participation.
- Ensure safe administration and recording of medication, and respond appropriately to incidents or changes in wellbeing.
Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead, motivate and supervise staff to maintain high standards of practice.
- Plan staffing effectively based on individual support needs.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure all support activities and programmes are delivered.
- Provide regular supervision, coaching, appraisals, and performance management.
- Promote a positive, open and supportive team culture with excellent communication.
- Participate in staff recruitment and training.
Service Quality & Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain high quality standards in line with CQC, contractual and organisational expectations.
- Build strong professional relationships with families, carers and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Support with service audits, health & safety compliance, incident reporting and safeguarding requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, support with budgets, and ensure financial procedures relating to service users are followed.
- Encourage feedback and involvement from people we support to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
