About the Role
We are looking for a caring, dynamic and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee a supported accommodation service for 7 adults , with additional oversight across other Carlisle services when required.
This is a Temporary-to-Permanent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can lead operational delivery, ensure high-quality personalised support, and drive excellent outcomes for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, housing needs and complex support requirements.
You will champion a culture of person-centred, trauma-informed, recovery-focused support that enables people to achieve their goals, enjoy wellbeing and develop skills for independence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead day-to-day management of supported accommodation services.
- Ensure safe, consistent, reliable service delivery at all times.
- Oversee risk assessments, risk management plans and responsive safety planning.
- Ensure support is personalised, respectful and delivered in line with agreed plans.
- Maximise positive outcomes for every service user.
Staff Leadership & Management
- Recruit, induct, supervise and performance-manage senior and support staff.
- Provide coaching, role-modelling and hands-on leadership.
- Oversee rota planning and effective deployment of staff to meet needs.
- Build a cohesive, resilient and inclusive team culture.
- Ensure staff receive training, supervision, and development opportunities.
Quality, Safeguarding & Compliance
- Act as Safeguarding Lead for the service.
- Maintain high standards of auditing, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Manage contracts, commissioner expectations, occupancy, referrals and assessments.
- Build strong relationships with commissioners, MDTs and external partners.
- Respond to incidents, ensure robust reporting and embed learning.
Housing Management & Service Development
- Manage voids, tenancy support, property standards, repairs and safety checks.
- Ensure services are recovery-focused, flexible and co-produced with service users.
- Contribute to wider service development and partnership working across Carlisle.
