About the Role
Napton House is a bespoke supported living service offering 15 individual apartments for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex physical support needs.
We are seeking warm, proactive Female Support Workers to join the team on a Temporary-to-Permanent basis. You will provide personalised support that enhances independence, wellbeing, dignity and meaningful participation in everyday life.

Key Responsibilities
Person-Centred & Practical Support
- Build warm, trusting relationships that encourage communication and self-expression.
- Provide personal care safely, including moving & handling following correct protocols.
- Support with daily living tasks: meal prep, cleaning, laundry, shopping and managing routines.
- Promote independence, choice, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
- Support budgeting, income maximisation and understanding tenancy responsibilities.
Health, Wellbeing & Safety
- Support access to health services, appointments and wellbeing activities.
- Promote healthy lifestyles around diet, exercise, stress reduction and wellbeing.
- Monitor physical and emotional health, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Support with medication compliance and liaise with health professionals when needed.
- Follow risk management plans and safeguarding procedures.
Community Inclusion & Skill Development
- Help people identify strengths, interests and future goals.
- Support engagement in leisure, social groups, community events, work and education.
- Encourage positive citizenship, independence and community participation.
Professional Practice
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and financial transactions.
- Provide written and verbal reports at reviews and planning meetings.
- Work professionally with families, carers, external agencies and MDTs.
- Work safely and independently in the service users’ homes.
- Participate in training, supervision and ongoing development.
