Registered Nurse (RGN)
Location: Various care homes across Greater Glasgow area
Pay Rate: Competitive – excellent hourly rates + holiday pay
About the Role
We’re looking for compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses to join our growing team across care home services. As a Cucumber Recruitment Nurse, you’ll deliver safe, effective, person‑centred clinical care to residents with a wide range of nursing needs — including dementia, frailty, long‑term conditions, neurological conditions, and palliative/end‑of‑life support.
You’ll work as a key clinical leader on shift, supporting care teams, liaising with families and external professionals, and ensuring exceptional standards of nursing practice are upheld at all times.

What You’ll Do
Clinical Care
• Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care
• Complete clinical observations, wound care, catheter care, PEG management, infection control, and monitoring of long‑term conditions
• Respond promptly to clinical emergencies or changes in condition
Medication Management
• Administer medications safely in line with NMC standards
• Maintain accurate MAR documentation
• Support ordering, storage, auditing, and disposal of medicines
Assessment & Care Planning
• Review and implement levels of care as instructed within an individuals care plan
• Work collaboratively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain meticulous clinical records
Leadership
• Lead shifts and coordinate care assistant teams
• Offer guidance, mentorship, and support to junior staff
• Promote a positive, compassionate, person‑centred culture
Communication & Professional Practice
• Liaise with GPs, community nurses, allied health professionals, and family members
• Provide clear, professional updates and maintain transparent communication
• Uphold NMC Code, safeguarding standards, and regulatory requirements
