About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. You will play a key role in supporting vulnerable individuals while leading and mentoring care staff to ensure high standards of care are consistently delivered.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about person-centred care, confident in leading shifts, and experienced in supporting individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support junior care staff
- Deliver high-quality personal care and emotional support
- Maintain accurate care records and daily notes
- Support service users with mobility, nutrition, and medication prompts
- Escalate safeguarding or clinical concerns appropriately
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing
- Work closely with nurses, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support new starters and assist with training where required
