About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

A minimum of three years' experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health needs.
At least one year's experience supervising staff or managing services within Health and Social Care.
Strong knowledge of Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism and Positive Behaviour Support.
A good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act, DoLS and safeguarding legislation.
Knowledge of CQC standards, regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes.
Experience completing assessments, support plans and risk management plans.
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Experience developing staff through supervision, coaching and performance management.
The ability to build positive and professional relationships with service users, families and external professionals.
A commitment to delivering outstanding person-centred support and achieving positive outcomes.

Desirable Experience

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.

Experience managing Supported Living or Community Services.

Experience managing budgets and resources.

Experience leading service improvements and development projects.

Experience recruiting and developing high-performing teams.
