Cucumber Healthcare is recruiting an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager on behalf of a leading care provider in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to oversee a well-established service, drive quality improvements, and ensure exceptional outcomes for residents and staff.

This is a 3-Month Temporary Contract with the Potential to go Permanent


As the CQC Registered Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee the delivery of safe, person-centred care services that enable people to live fulfilling and dignified lives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Hold CQC Registered Manager responsibility for the service.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary care team.
  • Ensure the service consistently meets CQC standards and contractual requirements.
  • Drive quality assurance, continuous improvement, and best practice initiatives.
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, induction, and ongoing development.
  • Monitor service performance, budgets, compliance, and operational targets.
  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, stakeholders, families, and professionals.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, GDPR, and risk management requirements are maintained.
  • Produce reports, audits, and management information to support service delivery and development

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience managing services supporting older people, individuals with mental health needs, or learning disabilities.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership or management role within a CQC registered setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and achieve performance targets.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
  • Eligible to register with the Care Quality Commission as a Registered Manager.


Desirable

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Adults).
  • Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager.
  • Relevant health, social care, housing, or support qualification.
