Cucumber Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established and rapidly expanding children's residential care provider for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee two children's homes in the Billinge/St Helens area.

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the leadership, management and regulatory compliance of two children's residential homes, ensuring both services provide safe, therapeutic and child-focused care that achieves positive outcomes for every young person.
Working closely with the Responsible Individual and senior leadership team, you'll support the continued success of an established home while leading the successful mobilisation, registration and development of a brand-new service.

Key Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager.
- Lead the day-to-day management of two children's residential homes.
- Support the successful opening and mobilisation of a newly developed children's home.
- Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Prepare for, lead and respond to Ofsted inspections.
- Create a positive, child-centred culture focused on safeguarding and therapeutic care.
- Lead recruitment, induction, supervision and ongoing development of residential staff.
- Ensure robust care planning, risk assessments, behaviour support plans and safeguarding practices are maintained.
- Develop strong partnerships with Local Authorities, Social Workers, Ofsted, education providers, healthcare professionals and families.
- Monitor budgets, staffing levels, occupancy and service performance.
- Ensure accurate recording, auditing and regulatory compliance across both services.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
