Cucumber Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established children's care provider for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed specialist residential home supporting children with mild to complex learning disabilities.

This is a unique opportunity to manage a smaller service where you'll have the time to focus on truly person-centred care and achieving exceptional outcomes for children with additional needs.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you'll lead a specialist residential home delivering high-quality care for children with learning disabilities and associated needs.

You'll ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment while maintaining compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a specialist Learning Disabilities service.
• Develop person-centred support plans.
• Promote independence and life skills.
• Lead Positive Behaviour Support approaches.
• Manage safeguarding and risk.
• Recruit and develop staff.
• Prepare for Ofsted inspections.
• Build relationships with families and professionals.
• Monitor quality, compliance and service performance.

About You

Essential:

• Registered Manager or experienced Deputy Manager.
• Level 5 Leadership qualification.
• Experience supporting children with learning disabilities.
• Knowledge of autism and complex needs.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
