Please note: Due to the nature of the personal care provided, this role is open to female applicants only under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.


The Role

As a Domiciliary Carer, you'll travel between service users' homes, delivering compassionate care tailored to each individual's needs. You'll provide practical support while building positive relationships that help people maintain their independence and dignity.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.

Experience in Medication Administration and Moving & Handling is desirable. However, if you have previous care experience and the right values, we can provide training and upskill you in these areas.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred care in people's own homes.
  • Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
  • Administer medication safely and accurately.
  • Support with moving and handling where required.
  • Prepare meals and encourage nutrition and hydration.
  • Assist with light household duties.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Escort service users to appointments and within the community.
  • Promote independence, dignity and choice.
  • Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns.
