Role: Care Assistant

Location: Inverurie

Pay: Up to £15.25 per hour – Weekly Pay

Hours: Flexible – be in control of when and where you work!

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in residential, nursing, or community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Supporting personal care — washing, dressing and toileting — with dignity and respect

·         Helping with mobility, moving and physical activity

·         Monitoring and recording changes in health and wellbeing

·         Providing companionship and emotional support

·         Assisting with meals, hydration and nutrition

·         Keeping the environment safe, clean and comfortable

·         Some placements involve administering medication — this depends on the setting and your training, and we'll always be clear about which applies before you accept a shift

This is an agency-based role where you will have the ability to work in different locations. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship.

What we need:

•             At least 6 months' paid UK experience in a healthcare setting

•             SSSC registration, or willingness to register — we support you through this

•             A clear PVG check and background screening (we'll guide you through this too)

•             Reliability — punctual, dependable, and willing to travel across your local area

•             Empathy, clear communication, and genuine respect for people's privacy and dignity

•             Adaptability and attention to detail — every day looks different in care

•             A willingness to keep learning and developing
