Job Description

Cucumber Recruitment is looking for compassionate and reliable Female Community Care Assistants to join our agency team, supporting a well-established domiciliary care service across Nottingham.


This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular, ongoing agency work with the potential for full-time hours whilst enjoying the flexibility and support of working through a specialist healthcare recruitment agency.

Shift Patterns

Applicants must be available to work one of the following shift patterns:

  • 07:00 – 13:00 and 15:00 – 20:00
  • 07:00 – 19:00


The Role

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals living within their own homes, helping them remain safe, independent and comfortable.

Your duties may include:

  • Personal care
  • Assisting with medication
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship
  • Mobility support
  • Light household duties
  • Accurate completion of care records
  • Promoting independence, dignity and choice

Essential Requirements

  • Female applicants only (this is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the nature of the personal care provided).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Compassionate, reliable and professional approach.
  • Ability to travel throughout the NG1–NG16 areas.
  • Previous experience within domiciliary care, home care, care assistant or support worker roles.
