Salary: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 per annum

Job Description

We are recruiting for a leading provider of high-quality domiciliary care services, committed to enhancing the lives of individuals in their own homes. We are dedicated to delivering compassionate, person-centred care that promotes independence and dignity. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead our team and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with the CQC's Fundamental Standards and manage all aspects of CQC inspections.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the quality of care and safety.
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments, quality assurance audits, and service reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure a competent and compliant workforce.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, including care plans, staff records, and compliance documentation.
  • Handle safeguarding concerns and other incidents in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring the financial sustainability of the service.

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary care or a similar setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, including Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs).
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.


Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 9am - 5.50pm
