Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities, autism, or complex needs in a meaningful and engaging setting? We are looking for a Group Facilitator to join a well-established multi-sensory service, providing therapeutic, person-centred group sessions to people with a wide range of support needs.

About the Role

As a Group Facilitator, you’ll help create a welcoming and nurturing environment. You’ll support participants and their carers, set up and maintain sensory rooms, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the facility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate tailored group sessions using sensory equipment
  • Prepare therapeutic spaces and perform health and safety checks
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with participants and carers
  • Support others in running sessions effectively and safely
  • Complete admin tasks and maintain equipment
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment


Hours: Shifts are available 7 days a week between the hours of 09:00-20:30

Full time hours are 37.5 per week, a minimum of 20 hrs will be considered. To be worked flexibly on a rota which will include evenings, weekends and public holidays according to the needs of the service.

What We're Looking For

  • Compassionate, person-centred approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism (desirable)
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Confidence using or learning about sensory tools and environments
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willing to work toward it)
