We are urgently seeking a strong, experienced Service Manager to oversee two vital supported accommodation schemes in Derby – Centenary House and Newstead House – supporting vulnerable adults and women at risk with a wide range of complex needs.

The Schemes
A 6-bed supported living unit for women at risk – including those affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health issues, and trauma.
A 39-bed supported accommodation service for vulnerable adults aged 18+, many with high-complex needs including mental health, addiction, homelessness, and chaotic lifestyles.
You will oversee a team of 15 staff, including support workers, assistants, and kitchen staff – managing service delivery, compliance, staff development, and resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across both schemes
- Support residents with complex needs through a person-centred approach
- Manage rotas, supervise staff, and drive performance improvement
- Coordinate support plans and lead on crisis intervention when needed
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor service budgets, report on outcomes, and liaise with partner agencies
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, residents, and stakeholders
