Role: Care Assistant

Location: Belfast

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour

Hours: Full-time, Part-time and flexible hours available

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in a residential care home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Supporting with mobility and physical activity
• Monitoring and recording health conditions
• Engaging with service users to provide emotional support and companionship
• Assisting with meals and hydration
• Ensuring a safe and clean environment

This is an agency-based role where you will have the ability to work in different locations. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 6 Month's UK experience working in a professional care home.
• Practical Moving and Handling of People Certificate.
• NISCC registration.
• Willingness to travel to BT18 0NE
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Compassionate, caring, and respectful individuals who are passionate about helping others.
• A good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and dignity in care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a strong work ethic.
