Cucumber Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of children's residential services for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 5-bed therapeutic children's home supporting young people who have experienced complex trauma.

The Role
You'll have overall responsibility for leading a therapeutic children's home, ensuring children receive exceptional care while maintaining full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and Ofsted expectations.
Working alongside an experienced Regional Operations Manager, you'll lead an established team and continue driving a culture of safeguarding, therapeutic practice and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of a 5-bed children's home.
- Deliver outstanding therapeutic, trauma-informed care.
- Lead and develop a high-performing residential team.
- Maintain compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections.
- Manage recruitment, supervision, appraisals and staff development.
- Monitor safeguarding, risk management and behaviour support.
- Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, Social Workers and external professionals.
- Oversee budgets, staffing levels, occupancy and quality assurance.
- Promote positive outcomes across education, emotional wellbeing and independence.
