Senior Healthcare Assistant, Stratford Upon Avon

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and oversee high-quality, person-centred care in care homes and residential settings.
• Support and mentor junior HCAs, acting as a role model and promoting best practice.
• Take the lead in delivering care plans and liaising with families and healthcare professionals.
• Assist with complex care needs, including medication management, mobility support, and health monitoring.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and communication with the wider care team.
• Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment for all service users.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 12 months' UK care experience, with recent experience in a senior or team-leading role.
• Valid face-to-face Moving and Handling of People certificate.
• Confidence in administering medication and updating care documentation.
• Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, and person-centred support.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
